I’m crafting my best fan theory yet. I’m solving the most complicated and mysterious character in all of fiction: The Narrator from the Twilight Zone, aka The Blurryman. Disclaimer when I finally finish this thing it’s going to be the most Meta thing ever. I’m talking multiple Multiverses, multiple dimensions, actors like Jordan Peele playing themselves playing a character being toyed with by another version of that character, and the implied existence of a sixth freaking wall or even beyond. Ever since devolving into this rabbit hole, I’ve been consumed by it. My sanity is gone, and I am now determined to solve the greatest mystery in TV history. Literally the entire show and the existence of this character in complicated into something that might take two hours of explaining and speculation in one episode from the revival, The Blurryman. But I need more time to gather my thoughts and evidence. This man is either an omnipresent god of judgment Multiverse shapeshifting being capable of existence on multiple levels of meta and reality at the same time or an in universe version of his actor and original show creator who manifested the Twilight Zone’s existence by writing it into existence and becoming then an omnipresent god of judgement. Either way he is also a Shapeshifter much like the doctor from Doctor Who as he has taken many forms over the years and has only recently returned in his original form and I’m still looking for an explanation for that.
