Jay's Real Parents[]
Here's what we know/what I perceive:
- Brooke, Sharon's sister, is Jay's biological mother who died giving birth to him.
- Mr. Dorland's late wife, whose name is never specified in the game, supposedly died around the same time as Jay's biological mother.
- Jay looks and sounds eerily similar to Vanessa's late brother (Mr. Dorland's son), Matthew, who is assumed to have been around Jay's age when he died.
Conclusion: Brooke was Mr. Dorland's wife, which means that Mr. Dorland must be Jay's biological father, therefore Vanessa is his biological sister.
What about "Matthew?" I would say my conclusion leads to a couple possibilities or more:
- "Matthew Dorland" either does not exist, or it is the true identity of Jay Holt. It could also be the other way around.
- Matthew could be the biological youngest son of Bear and Sharon Holt, if they truly did have a third child. Perhaps, for some reason, after Brooke died, Matthew and Jay's families were traded/swapped at birth, with Jay being given to the Holts and Matthew being given to the Dorlands.
