Trivia[]

  • This is the first appearance of Baby Galileo The Kangaroo in PlaySoup form who doesn't return until Baby's First Moves without his shirt.
  • This is the only appearance of Baby Galileo's Mom.
  • This is the first video to use Legends and Lore puppets since World Animals.
  • This is the first video by Park Place Productions.
  • This is the first video to be filmed in California.
  • This is the first video to add recaps so each word is repeated at least twice.
  • This is the first video to have classical music by Schubert, Debussy, and Chopin (not counting the bonus features from Baby Neptune).
  • The Triple Rainbow Pinwheel by New Tech Kites, Wind Dazzlers: Sunny by New Tech Kites, and Geo-Jewel Star Crystalite by White Eagle are all from Baby Beethoven, Mini Orbiter by Rabbit Tanaka is from Baby Mozart, Black Cosmos Kinetic with Red Ball by Carlisle and Winkel by Manhattan Toy with different colors are from Baby Bach, Venus Rotating Fiber Optic Lamp by Spencer Gifts is from Baby Mozart and Baby Newton, and Flying Cow Mobile by Petra Toys with different colors is from Neighborhood Animals.
  • The Spinning Balls Kinetic by Carlisle was later seen in Lullaby Time, Baby Beethoven (2008), and World of Rhythm.
  • The Solar System Crystalite by White Eagle was later seen in Baby Lullaby.
  • This is the last video to include Johann Strauss, Jr.'s Blue Danube Waltz (excluding On The Go which only contains an excerpt of this song used as background music) until Neptune's Oceans, the previous 2 times were Baby Van Gogh (full extended version) and Baby Neptune (same length with different instruments at the end).
  • This video also features the extended version of Symphony No. 41 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart which was previously used on the Baby Mozart 2000 CD. The track is also reused directly from the CD but with new instruments for the extension.
  • The reason why Pluto was the 9th planet in the planets scene, is because this video was made in 2003, and Pluto wasn't considered a dwarf planet until 2006 (3 years after the video's release).
  • The VHS w/CD Sampler slot comes with the Math and Science Audio Sampler CD. No pieces from Baby Galileo are included in the CD.
  • This is the first VHS to have the CHVRS logo on the INK Label/Sticker Label.

Goofs[]

  • Although the video like the other ones was shot in 59.94fps, most of this video was however exported with 23.976fps. The reason is unknown, but it could likely be an exporting glitch. The only parts of the video to see in the fixed 59.94fps are the star scene (in English (US), 2003 VHS & Latin American, Japanese & North American 2004 DVDs in English (US) versions), the puppet shows (in bonus features) and the cloud puppet show (in French (Canadian) & Spanish (Latin American) versions). In the 2004 remaster, the fps in the finale was also messed up, making it down to 16fps.
  • In the American 2003 DVD release, the Disney DVD Pure Digital Magic logo isn't interlaced to 59.94fps, causing the logo to stay at 29.97fps. This issue was later fixed on Numbers Nursery, and on the American 2004 DVD release.
  • If you listen closely to the electric piano during the extended cut of Symphony No. 41, 4th Movement you can notice that it is a beat off which creates some jarring harmonies.
  • They forgot to credit Ludwig van Beethoven in the credits for writing Symphony No. 6, 5th Movement.
  • During the Looking Through a Telescope puppet show, Baby Galileo's tail gets cut off due to the cropping and the green screen used. This error also occurs in the main video.
