- This video is based on the Noah's Ark Story from the Bible, Genesis 6:13 - 7:24.
- This is the first appearance of Flamingo, Baby Mozart the Koala, Penguin in PlaySoup form, Patch the Panda, and Baby Galileo The Kangaroo in Legends & Lore form which the latter two don't return until World Animal Adventure and World Music respectively.
- This is the only appearance of Isaac the Lion in his second version of PlaySoup form.
- The 2009 version marks the last appearance of Tiger, Baby Galileo The Kangaroo in PlaySoup form, and Penguin in Legends & Lore form.
- The Whale Balance Toy was later seen in World Animal Adventure, and the Penguin Walker was later seen in World Music and reused in Neptune's Oceans.
- This is the 4th longest Baby Einstein video after Meet The Orchestra, On The Go, and Baby Wordsworth.
- The CD was released 2 years after the video came out.
- Baby Noah was originally going to be a Forest section with Bear, Fox, Squirrel, and Owl and a Desert section with Armadillo and Coyote in the video, but they were scrapped because the video could have potentially been too long. However, they were seen in the book Jane’s Animal Expedition.
- Some tracks were later heard in Neptune's Oceans.
- The CD enclosed on the VHS has the same music as the Neighborhood Animals/World Animals Audio Sampler CDs enclosed on the Late 2002 VHS tapes, the Sampler CD enclosed on the Baby Neptune & Baby MacDonald VHS tapes. That being said, this is the last VHS to come with the Animals and Nature Audio Sampler CD.
- The lioness clip in the Savannah scene, and the otter clip in the beginning were also used in the Disney's Animal Kingdom promo for the 2004 DVD, and they were filmed at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida in 1998.
- This is the first video to have the Little Einstein promo somewhere inside the VHS & DVD.
- The 2009 DVD had a deleted scene that was not in the video. It had a tiger's tail moving by and then Tiger walks by. The puppet show was featured in a YouTube clip in 2009.
- The Elephant and Lion Puppet Show is somehow missing in the Grow with Me Edition of the 2009 release.
- This is the last animal video to be released on VHS.

- In the Blowing Bubbles puppet show, you can see a bubble blower device underneath the table that they use to make it look like the bubbles float out of the cup and into the air. It's likely because the editors didn't notice that problem, but it could have been fixed with cropping.
- On the 2004 Discovery Cards, the word "Wombat" is misspelled as "Wambat". However, on the 2009 Discovery Cards, they fixed the spelling error.
